ASB BBA students make the most of their industrial visit to Bisleri International

An important part of the curriculum of professional courses like engineering/BBA/MBA/Diploma, ‘Industrial Visit’ provides a great opportunity to the future professionals and potential industrialists to gain a real-time exposure to the live industry. Considered as one of the most tactical methods of teaching, industry visit provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. In effect, visiting a company gives students a practical perspective on the world of work, by giving them the actual exposure to current work practices as opposed to the theoretical expositions in the classrooms.

Thus, industrial visits form the core constituents of BBA & MBA or PGDM curriculum of top business schools & colleges in Delhi NCR as well. One such top under-graduate business school in Delhi NCR where a big focus is given to industry visits as a means to develop the practical industry insights of the students, is the Asian School of Business (ASB) – which is a part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and is ranked as one of the top ranked BBA/BCA colleges in Noida.

Keeping this theme in mind, a visit for ASB’s students was organized to GOONJ’s processing unit in Sarita Vihar on 6th February, 2019. It was an inspiring experience for them to see the segregation units and the way each piece of the products was being used till its last use and made into a valuable commodity that could be consumed as a resource by the needy. It was an inspiring learning experience for the students as they shared multiple ideas through poster presentation which they could employ to contribute to the society. Ninety minutes were given to make a poster and one hour was kept for the presentations. In each poster presentation the students shared various ideas intelligently and creatively.
